Life and Library ....... what a beautiful comparison! Yes Life is like a library owned by an author. It is true that in this library .... the books written by owner author are always less in number ..... the books written for this author outnumber the ones written by him. In a literal sense the above thinking is true. To me every one who enters in this world is an author. Every one ends up writing a book... may be some are able to voice it, record it.... or print it. And every ones' book remains eternal. No one can destroy any ones' book ... despite whether the same is published or not. Hope I make sense to the ones reading this write up. In Nothing can be created nor destroyed. Every thing is already there. Only thing is that the forms and shapes change continuously. Hope Librarians will appreciate my point of view! I appreciate your way of thinking and your concern about correlating library with life. I am agreed to it for much extent. Even though, in libraries, we need to market the services but here in life our emotions, thoughts and relations market it. In libraries we can amend the action but life does not give time to amend any of our action though impact can be minimized. We preserve old material in libraries but in life, old is always getting replaced with new or improved one. Moreover life is based on circumstances and human thoughts or tendencies play an important role in making it positive and productive.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, it is great thinking… great work, keep it up…!
You have given a new dimension to what I have said in my write up. I am sure Librarians continue to be powerful as they relate themselves to knowledge all the time. Thank you Suresh.
