LIBRARY AND INFORMATION STUDIES PROGRAMS


Library and information studies programs offer some type of service for their current students as well as alumni. Most schools provide job hunting and resume writing seminars. Many have outside speakers representing different types of libraries or recent graduates relating career experiences. Faculty or designated placement officers provide individual advising services or critiquing of resumes.
Of the ALA accredited library and information studies programs, the following handle placement activities through the program:
