Asian School of Business Management (ASBM),
a faculty driven B-School, developed with the philosophy of the IIMs, under the
dynamic leadership of the well-known management Guru Lagaan Professor Dr.
Biswajeet Pattanayak, has
state-of-the-art mega campuses at Bhubaneswar & Hyderabad. The Institute
provides ultra-modern facilities for teaching, research, training, consulting
and career growth, benchmarking the IIMs. Chanakya Central Library is the
centre place of all Academic, Information and Knowledge endeavors of the
Institute. Students / Faculty have access to a rich and diverse collection of
books , periodicals. Book Collection comprises of Reference Books, Text Books,
Student Works, Faculty Working Papers, Entrepreneurship Special Collection,
Harvard Collection. Main focus being on Management and allied subjects the
collection boosts of every domain of knowledge from Philosophy, Logic,
Sciences, Social Sciences to History and Geography / History. Apart from
subscribing print versions of Journals / magazines the Library subscribes to
two major online Journal Data bases viz EBSCO and Jgate – JSMS. Documentation /
Information Services include : ASBM Business Updates, New Additions, User
Orientation, Library Internship / Training for fresh Post Graduates in Library
Information Science etc. Future plans comprise digital initiative, introduction
of RFID, conduct of : LIS training programs, hosting of National Seminars /
Conferences / Workshops etc.
Applications are
invited for the positions of Deputy Librarian / Assistant Librarians
from Post Graduates in Library and Information Science. Preference may be given
to those candidates who have exposure / experience to/in Classification (DDC /
UDC), Libsys, EBSCO, Proquest, JGate, Information Technology/Computer
Applications. Salary / emoluments as per
academic credentials / experience. The posts carry usual facilities/allowances
as per institute's norms.
Walk in Interviews
are scheduled in the campus on 9-6-2012 (10.00am). Confirm you attendance by

Fresh Post Graduates

may enroll themselves for our Internship
/ On Job Training of six months (extendable by another six months based on

The Trainees will be eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs.5000.00pm. The
enrollment is open through out the year. Important
