Explore more….to do something extraordinary what you know is enough to start with … you can proceed further and further … and the whole world connives to assist you to go ahead….provided you humbly and honestly believe trust yourself. It is never too late, follow your dream….. cheers!!!!!

Thought that poked me, February 3, 2011

Lisa Hammonds (Dream Big) said, "Education and business experiences are not only the factors, in fact they are not even the most important factors in determining the success of any business"….. "You just never know which life experiences you will draw on as you follow your dream." … "If there is one thing I have discovered , it is that it is small things that can lead to the big shifts in thinking."

We many a time think that due to our not having a B.Tech., or M.Tech or or a business qualification like MBA or MA or for that matter Ph.D … that we are unable to do certain things …. Unable to start a business … unable to come up in life. This qualification business Lisa says does not fall in the most important things that matter either for initiating or nurturing a business or pursuing an intellectual pursuit or to do some thing extra ordinary in life. So Librarians , (including me) …. if at all we think we lack certain qualifications ….. if at all you have not undergone certain courses or if at all you could not read certain books that are sign qua non ….. it is never too late. There are ways and means of going ahead in fulfilling your dear big dream, come what may. If you are not an MLIS and unable to become a lecturer … you can become a publisher and get involved … you can initiate a journal that keeps you close to lecturers and teaching … you can start an e-business and get closer to libraries, librarians and knowledge manager. Explore yourself…. You don't know  what you know…. Explore more….to do something extraordinary what you know is enough to start with … you can proceed further and further … and the whole world connives to assist you to go ahead….provided you humbly and honestly believe trust yourself. It is never too late, follow your dream….. cheers!!!!!

Librarianship is a noble profession
